Job summary

STV Incorporated invites applications for a CEI Inspector to join our Inspection Team in Franklin, TN or Chattanooga, TN. The role involves field surveying, construction layout, and performing engineering computations under the supervision of the Project Administrator and Senior Inspector.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of construction inspection experience, with TDOT and related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years construction inspection experience.
• TDOT/related certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Perform field surveying and construction layout tasks.
• Make and check engineering computations.
• Inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
• Assist with geotechnical field exploration activities.
• Work under supervision of the Project Administrator and Senior Inspector.
