Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Certification to operate nuclear gauges may be required.
• Work simulations and medical-physical exam required.
• Engineering/Construction Management or related degree acceptable or 8 years construction inspection experience.
• Certification to operate nuclear gauges may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform construction inspections for compliance with contracts, specifications, and engineering principles.
• Inspect routine construction items including plants, paving, grading, bridges, culverts, and utilities.
• Prepare final plans, change orders, contractor payment estimates, and engineering costs.
• Maintain construction documentation, records, and reports; keep supervisor informed of activities or issues.
• Provide field checks for surveying operations and lead layout/staking.
