Job summary

DLZ Corporation in Michigan is seeking Construction Inspectors / Observers to support infrastructure projects. You will interpret specs, lead field inspections, and prepare field reports, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in civil engineering or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Field inspection experience on MDOT/LAP projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of field assignment and interpret specifications/ drawings.
• Maintain field data, generate and compile field reports.
• Manage equipment, vehicle upkeep and safety procedures on site.
• Travel to locations across Michigan and tri-state area as required.
• Collaborate with project staff on design changes and documentation.
