Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our growing Construction Engineering & Inspection team in western North Carolina. Our professionals bring deep, real-world experience in inspection, supervision, safety oversight, and construction observation.

This role supports a range of infrastructure projects including heavy highway work and bridges. Responsibilities include field observations, reading plans, monitoring sequencing and cost, and maintaining QA records.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related construction engineering/inspection experience.
• Reading contract documents and construction plans.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control construction observations for highway roadway and bridge projects.
• Read contract documents and construction plans.
• Monitor scheduling, sequencing, cost and performance decisions in the field.
• Maintain construction records and QA documentation.
• Ensure quality and uniformity in contract records across the program.
