Job summary

The JF Petroleum Group is seeking a Construction Helper to support field crews on turn-key fueling infrastructure projects. You will assist craft workers and electricians, help carry tools, read blueprints, and ensure safe, efficient job sites in varying weather. Some overtime and travel are required, with on-site work in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Basic reading of measurements, math, and mechanical skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand 8-10 hours daily.
• Willing to travel up to 50-60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Direct heavy equipment operators during excavation operations.
• Operate small equipment such as skid steer loader.
• Cut and thread steel pipe and assist installation of tanks.
• Assist foreman with shooting grades and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Ensure safety signs and barricades are in place.
• Comply with safety requirements including PPE.
• Ensure tools are accounted for and organized.
• Keep job inventory accurate.
• Work after-hours and in all weather; travel up to 60%.
