Job summary

Buch Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team in Fulton, MD, supporting field operations and coordinating with the Project Superintendent to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

In this full-time role, you will assist with day-to-day field activities, prioritize tasks, and help maintain daily safety and quality documentation. OSHA-30 and First Aid/CPR/AED training are required, with training provided if not current.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn project drawings, specs and scheduling.
• Proficient with technology (smartphone, tablet, and/or laptop).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated with leadership potential.
• OSHA-30 certification and First Aid/CPR/AED training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day field operations and coordination.
• Support safety program and enforce Buch policies.
• Maintain daily reports and field documentation.
• Coordinate drawings, specifications and scheduling with project staff.
• Coordinate trades and lookahead schedules to maintain project timelines.
