Job summary

Clark is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help lead Southeast Michigan field operations, coordinate daily site activities, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will support the Superintendent, communicate with trade partners, and assist with progress meetings, reports, and close-out, with opportunities to grow into a Superintendent role within a collaborative, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or similar field role.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating short-term (2-4 week) jobsite activities and communicate plans with trade contractors
• Support development and maintenance of the project schedule, including three-week lookahead planning
• Monitor and support contractor performance to ensure alignment with project timelines and requirements
• Help facilitate timely approvals and documentation with architects, engineers, and governing authorities
• Uphold jobsite safety, quality, environmental standards, and cleanliness at all times
• Assist with project close-out and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards
• Maintain detailed daily reports documenting site activity, progress, and key events
• Track labor hours and submit trade hours and labor reports as required
• Participate in and help lead onsite coordination and progress meetings
