Job summary

Construction Field Services, LLC is hiring a full-time Concrete Tester for on-site duties in Northwest, IN. You will sample concrete at job sites, perform slump, air content and temperature tests, and prepare/test cylinders for strength verification.

You will record data, generate reports, and communicate findings to project managers and inspectors. The role requires reading drawings, following ASTM standards, strict safety adherence, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in concrete field testing per ASTM standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and testing procedures.
• Commitment to safety on active construction sites.
• Strong data entry and reporting accuracy.
• Willingness to obtain ACI Grade I within defined timeframe.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Sample concrete at job sites and perform slump, air, temperature tests.
• Prepare and cure test cylinders for compressive strength testing.
• Record data accurately and prepare test reports.
• Communicate findings to project managers and inspectors.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration and upkeep.
• Travel to multiple project locations within Northwest, IN region.
