Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company seeks a Field Technician II to diagnose, maintain, and repair oil injected and oil-free air compressors across brands. You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and parts replacement while documenting test results and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, six years in technical field service for compressed air systems, and strong mechanical/electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment across brands.
• Demonstrated expertise in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of Industrial and Oil-Free compressors.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with understanding of single and three-phase power.
• CFC refrigeration experience a plus.
• Experience with related equipment (dryers, electrical equipment) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors, determine possible causes, and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Document compressor operating parameters before and after service.
• Train and assist other service technicians as required.
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE usage at all times.
• Deliver high level of customer service and build rapport with customers.
