Waukesha-Pearce Industries seeks a Field Compressor Technician for a role in the Odessa/Midland area on a 14/14 schedule. The ideal candidate will assist a master technician and perform major work on gas engines and compressors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years in gas compressor operations and a high school diploma. Proficiency in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and basic computer skills is essential. Tools will be required for the tasks assigned.
Job purpose
The Field Compressor Technician rotates on a 14/14 schedule servicing the Odessa/Midland area. The FCT works alongside a master/journeyman technician while performing major work on assigned jobs. Promote good attitudes and aesthetics represented by WPI. To lead small minor repair or service jobs on natural gas engines and compressors. Daily communication with the Regional Field Service Manager and master/journeyman about progress or any special circumstances that could delay completion of the job. Promote safe work practices and ensure that JSA and all HSE requirements for the job are followed.
