Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Communications Technician to operate and maintain field communications equipment including Alcatel microwave, MAS-RF SCADA, and WAN/LAN systems. The role covers RF, power systems, and tower facilities with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in hazardous conditions. On-site work in Springtown, TX, with 24/7 on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years’ relevant work experience as a technician or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with hand tools for electrical wiring at various voltages.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains field communications equipment and systems (Alcatel microwave, MAS-RF SCADA, WAN/LAN, power systems, radio tower facilities).
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA, FCC, FAA, NEC and environmental requirements.
• Plans, installs, maintains, and diagnoses equipment; supports budgets and project schedules.
• Works independently with minimal supervision and provides training as needed.
