Job summary

Gray Matter Systems Llc in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Control Systems Analyst I to support startup and commissioning activities on active data center construction projects. You will perform P2P checkout, network startup, instrumentation calibration, SCADA integration, and PLC programming.

This role is highly mobile and onsite-focused, requiring travel up to 90% and collaboration with engineers, commissioning teams, and field technicians to ensure integrated, validated, and turnover-ready

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Controls Systems Technology or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of controls and commissioning experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 90%).
• Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support point-to-point checkout, functional tests, and system validation during commissioning.
• Monitor data accuracy, alarms, trends, and responses for system reliability.
• Coordinate integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls teams.
• Develop and validate commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation.
• Maintain technical documentation including redlines and as-builts.
• Travel to project sites to support startup activities and vendor coordination.
