Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service commercial properties across a Washington, DC area portfolio. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections, using multiple trades to ensure facilities remain in optimal condition.

A company vehicle and tools are provided as you travel to client sites. The role requires 2–5 years in building trades, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work in a dynamic environment with safety-focused practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equal certification; relevant trade experience also acceptable.
• Two to five years in general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Must possess applicable licenses, certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Inspect facilities and report on asset conditions and safety compliance.
• Utilize handheld devices and business systems to document work and submit reports.
