Job summary

Stones River Electric is seeking a Lighting Technician to support our growing national operations. The role focuses on installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems and related electrical circuits.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on field experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Company vehicle, equipment, and benefits are provided. This is an on‑site position in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and work at heights.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
• Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.).
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass drug screen, background check and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and related electrical branch circuits.
• Assist with on-site electrical work and field tasks as needed.
