Job summary

Stones River Electric seeks a Lighting Technician to support its growing national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience. The role focuses on installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems and associated electrical branch circuits.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on field experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work independently in the field.

Qualifications

2–3 years of hands-on field experience with commercial lighting systems.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.).
Good communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety of lighting installations.
Collaborate with team members and customers to resolve issues and complete tasks on schedule.
