Job summary

SAFEbuilt, Inc. is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to join our team of professionals. You will perform field inspections for rental housing programs, read plans and specifications, report violations, and maintain records.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and licensure as a Code Enforcement Officer II; IPMC certification is a plus. Experience in security/compliance and strong communication are favored.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Code Enforcement II required; IPMC certification a plus.
• 1+ year in security, enforcement, or compliance work including investigating allegations and resolving complaints.
• Experience in building, construction, or trades highly desired.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections for rental housing program.
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required.
• Report violations and maintain files/records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
