Job summary

The Crom Corporation is seeking a Technician Recruit to execute field work in commercial and industrial painting and specialized surface preparation for water infrastructure projects. The role involves learning coatings and linings application, surface prep techniques, and assisting senior personnel in repairs and installations.

You will work both in the shop and on job sites, with travel and overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background check, drug screening, pulmonary function test, and fit test.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work in commercial and industrial painting and coating applications as directed by supervisors.
• Develop understanding of tools, materials and equipment for coatings and linings in water infrastructure.
• Master surface preparation techniques including pressure washing and sandblasting.
• Assist with installation of secondary containment systems and protective barriers.
• Learn and apply new technologies in coatings and application methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
