Job summary

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure for the Chicago South region (Peoria area) to educate and support customers in hospital settings, perform case coverage, and drive product pull-through across vascular products.

You will train staff, present in Cath Labs and OR, travel up to 50%, and partner with sales and clinical teams to achieve sales goals. A Bachelor’s degree is required; clinical background is preferred. This role is primarily remote with regional travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospital settings.
• Educate customers on Vessel Closure products through presentations and in-service education.
• Develop relationships with hospital staff and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals.
• Attend cardiac cath labs and OR procedures to ensure customer and patient success.
