Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Field Clinical Specialist for Shockwave Medical Inc. in Boston, MA. You will train physicians and hospital staff on intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) technology and provide direct case support during interventional procedures.

You will engage in clinical studies, ensure data collection, and help coordinate site training across multiple territories, with significant travel and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in interventional or surgical procedures within a hospital setting or hospital-based life sciences/sales support.
• Knowledge of clinical research, GCP and regulatory guidelines for trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide case support to physicians within territories for peripheral and coronary interventional procedures.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on device usage and study materials.
• Coordinate site re-training, data collection, and database locks with clinical teams.
• Manage travel, budgets and administrative duties for the field team.
