Job summary

BIOTRONIK is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist to join our Orlando team. You will provide expert technical and clinical support for bradycardia and tachycardia products, delivering implants support, on-site training, and education to physicians, the sales team, and hospital staff.

You will travel within your territory, support clinical studies, and maintain certification as required. A nursing/physiology/Bio-Engineering background with 3+ years in pacemaker/ICD support is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bio-Engineering, Exercise Science or similar.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or pacing business with specific emphasis on pacemaker and ICD support.
• Pacemaker implantation and/or follow up experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the Company.

Responsibilities

• Provide pacemaker & ICD follow-up to Biotronik patients and physician customers.
• Provide pacemaker & ICD implant support within area of geographic responsibility.
• Provide in service training to physician, nursing and technical hospital staff.
• Train peers in cardiac pacing and Biotronik products.
• Provide technical and administrative support for clinical studies and scientific studies, including collection of patient data and support at clinical sites.
• Ensure all paperwork for implant, follow-up, or data collection is accurate.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac pacing, defibrillators, and electrophysiology; stay updated on Biotronik products.
• Assist sales in the territory and provide on-call coverage 24/7; travel up to 30% may be required.
• Maintain or obtain IBHRE certification; demonstrate proficiency in ICD implant and follow-up.
