Metric Bio is partnered with an innovative MedTech company in the Intravascular Lithotripsy space (IVL).

This innovative start-up is looking for an ambitious and target-driven individual in Washington DC to join their team as a Senior Field Clinical Specialist for IVL.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, conducting, and execution of clinical trials within the US. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a pioneering start-up at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

You Must Have:

• BA/BSc degree, preferably in life sciences.
• 5+ years of clinical experience with vascular medical devices
• Extensive experience in interventional cardiology & cathlabs
• Extensive experience supporting clinical trials in the field for devices not yet commercially approved - THIS IS ESSENTIAL.
• Ability to interpret coronary and peripheral angiography
• Experience supporting trials for a cardiovascular device that's not yet commercialized.

Brief Summary of Responsibilities:

• Providing education on all aspects of a medical device, device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to the equipment
• Educating and training physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital staff on all aspects related to the medical device
• Develop and continuously improve training curriculum, training materials, and training tools, based on clinical trial experience and SOP
• Support audits and inspections, as needed.

Note: You must reside in Washington DC and be open to high travel.
