Job summary

Paradromics is seeking a Field Clinical Engineer to act as the trusted technical presence at U.S. clinical sites during early feasibility and first-in-human studies.

You will support safe use of the implantable BCI, coordinate with clinicians, and help translate real-world experiences into system improvements. The role requires travel, strong technical aptitude, and exceptional communication to bridge clinicians and engineers.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience working with complex technology in clinical, research, or other human-facing environments.
  • Ability to learn and operate technical systems independently.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for clinical audiences and vice versa.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to U.S. clinical sites and support study activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-field technical representative during EFS procedures and study visits.
  • Configure, calibrate, operate, and breakdown study systems; perform system checks.
  • Support neural recording workflows to generate high-quality data.
  • Monitor neural signals and system performance in real time during sessions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, device, connectivity, and signal-quality issues in clinical settings.
  • Document observations and escalate issues to engineering and clinical teams.
  • Contribute to training materials, field playbooks, and SOPs for consistency across sites.
