Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance / Claims Investigator to validate loss facts for insurance claims through scene investigations, claimant and witness interviews, and data interpretation. Travel is daily to cases in the field, with no office to report to.

A valid driver’s license and experience in insurance investigations are required, along with the ability to work irregular hours. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, collaboration with clients and case managers, and compliance

Qualifications

• Must possess one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice with at least 4 years of complex investigations or claims adjustment; or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Must be licensed as a Private Investigator where applicable by state.
• Complete Allied Universal Investigations training after offer.
• Minimum of two years of experience in insurance claims investigations or complex claims adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability.
• Gather information through data collection, interviews, and scene investigations.
• Coordinate with clients and case managers; follow guidance from the adjusting handler for field tasks.
• Document investigations with clear, professional reports, memos, and letters.
• Run database indices and verify results for accuracy.
