Qualifications

• 5-7 years of design experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Experience working in the field is a benefit.
• 25-30% travel.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Investigate the origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyze failures, evaluate construction quality, and review design or maintenance procedures.
• Perform field investigations and document damaged property; lead multi-party examinations.
• Research failure modes and code requirements; prepare repair/remediation recommendations.
• Prepare reports outlining origins and causes for clients.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex assignments.
