Job summary

Intertek Yazoo City, MS is seeking a Civil Inspector to ensure project quality plans are implemented on site. The role involves inspecting soil, grout, concrete, and piling, reporting results, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.You will review QA/QC documentation, verify safety procedures, and help maintain records. The position is full-time, 6–8 months, with a heavy 50-hour work week, and requires on-site collaboration and English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site civil inspection experience.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Able to work and communicate in a team environment.
• NACE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect soils, grout, concrete, and piling per project specs.
• Capture inspection results and report promptly.
• Ensure suppliers/contractors meet codes, specs and drawings.
• Review QA/QC documentation and ITP before fabrication/construction.
• Verify PTW/LOTO and safety procedures.
• Organize record retention systems.
