Job summary

AEIS LLC is seeking a Civil Inspector (ACI 1, 2) to support infrastructure projects in the NY/NJ metro area. You will perform field inspections, testing, and document quality to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The ideal candidate holds ACI 1 and ACI 2 certifications, has 1–10 years of inspection experience, and can travel to project sites. OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• ACI 1 and ACI 2 certifications required (active).
• 1–10 years of field inspection experience in geotechnical, civil and structural disciplines.
• OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training required or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection schedules by reviewing permits, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections in Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural disciplines.
• Issue notices for corrections and recommend compliance procedures.
• Submit daily inspection reports with on-time submission goals.
• Maintain high safety training completion and aim for zero incidents.
• Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours.
