Job summary

Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services (AEIS) llc in the NY/NJ metro area seeks a Civil Inspector (ACI 1, 2) to support infrastructure inspections and QA across field activities. You will review permits, perform geotechnical, civil and structural inspections, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Ideal candidates hold active ACI 1/2 credentials, OSHA 30, and have 1–10 years of inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold active ACI 1 and ACI 2 certifications.
• Experience performing Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural inspections.
• OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training is required or can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection schedules by reviewing permits, plans, and specs.
• Inspect Geotechnical, Civil and Structural work per codes and standards.
• Issue notices for corrections and recommend compliance procedures.
• Submit daily inspection reports within 24 hours.
• Maintain 90%+ completion of safety training.
• Aim for zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents.
• Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours with minimal revisions.
• Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out.
• Limit serious issues per quarter related to I&T equipment.
