CME Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Field Engineer to lead on-site investigations, perform inspections, and oversee material testing in Buffalo, NY.

This role involves managing projects from start to finish and delivering precise engineering calculations and reports. You will collaborate with Senior Professional Engineers to execute a wide range of field and technical tasks, coordinating with clients and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of construction materials, procedures, and documentation is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized inspections and field evaluations of soils, concrete, masonry, and steel.
• Perform geotechnical investigations with test borings and pit observations, with lab analysis.
• Collaborate with Senior Professional Engineers to execute field and technical tasks.
• Prepare detailed engineering studies and comprehensive reports meeting standards.
• Coordinate projects related to Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing.
• Maintain rigorous QA protocols in field and lab settings and pursue ongoing certifications.
