Job summary

Tectonic Engineering is seeking EIT-Certified Civil Field Engineers to join our team on a full-time basis to work on building and infrastructure projects throughout the NYC area. This role offers professional growth within a Top ENR 500 Firm.

The position requires daily travel to project sites, field inspections, and reporting. Strong communication and knowledge of building codes are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered EIT in New York State required; related certifications are a plus.
• Ability to complete OSHA training within a reasonable time.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must travel to NYC metro sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Daily Field Reports.
• Communicate deficiencies to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Interpret project drawings and documents for testing.
• Perform field inspections and testing per project specifications.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
