CME Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Field Engineer to lead on-site investigations, perform inspections, and oversee material testing. You will manage projects from start to finish, perform precise engineering calculations, and deliver timely reports in accordance with industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, an EIT certification, and travel to project sites. Strong reporting and communication skills are essential, with a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• EIT certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized inspections and field evaluations, including soils, concrete, masonry, and steel material testing.
• Perform geotechnical investigations with test borings and pit observations, supported by lab analysis.
• Collaborate with Senior Professional Engineers on field and technical tasks.
• Prepare detailed engineering studies and reports meeting standards.
• Coordinate projects related to Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing.
• Implement QA protocols and maintain compliance with codes and best practices.
• Commit to professional growth through continuing education and certifications.
