Job summary

Mainline Services is seeking CDL Laborers for the Load Adjust / Transfer Division in Galesburg, IL. This entry-level role supports rerailing operations and track maintenance with field-based manual labor and equipment handling.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, performing inspections, and assisting foremen with daily tasks. Occasional travel, weekend and holiday work may be required as part of emergency response coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based operation involving manual labor.
• Must be able to use or learn a variety of tools and equipment listed.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with a good driving record.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and follow safety procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting 75–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute field-based work including manual tasks for rerailing operations and track maintenance.
• Follow directions and safety policies to protect personnel and assets.
• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials to job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment.
• Assist with load adjust / transfer tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Travel regionally and on occasion for multi-night assignments.
