Job summary
Mainline Services is seeking experienced track laborers with CDL to grow our expanding team. This entry level role aids in hauling equipment, rerailing cars after derailments, and performing related track maintenance tasks.
The job requires weekend/holiday availability, outdoors work, and adherence to strict safety rules. On-the-job training and CDL-A development are provided, with opportunities for advancement and competitive wages.
Qualifications
- Experience in field-based manual labor, construction or related industry.
- Must use or learn a variety of tools and equipment listed.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and CDL with a good driving record.
- Capable of following directions and reading/writing English.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather and travel regionally.
- Must pass safety, background, drug tests and other trainings.
Responsibilities
- Execute field-based work including rerailing operations and track maintenance.
- Follow safety policies and procedures; operate with PPE.
- Coordinate with Foreman for daily tasks and directions.
- Load, move and distribute materials for daily activities.
- Travel regionally; work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Support in provisioning equipment and site cleanup after shifts.
