Job summary

B&F Contracting, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to support underground utility construction in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves operating Class A vehicles and assisting with general labor at the site, with a focus on safety and timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will have a CDL Class A, a clean driving record, and at least two years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction, along with the ability to work outdoors in Arizona heat and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience; construction experience a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to tow trailers with heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Experience around underground utilities preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, equipment trailers).
• Transport heavy equipment, tools, and materials to job sites safely and promptly.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records.
• Secure loads according to safety standards.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA and company safety policies.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with loading/unloading construction materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to meet project schedules.
• Assist underground utility crews with labor tasks as needed.
