Job summary

B&F Contracting, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to support underground utility construction in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves operating Class A vehicles and assisting with general labor at the site, with a focus on safety and timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will have a CDL Class A, a clean driving record, and at least two years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction, along with the ability to work outdoors in Arizona heat and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial driving experience; construction experience a plus.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to tow trailers with heavy equipment.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors.
Experience around underground utilities preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate Class A commercial vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, equipment trailers).
Transport heavy equipment, tools, and materials to job sites safely and promptly.
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records.
Secure loads according to safety standards.
Comply with DOT, OSHA and company safety policies.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Assist with loading/unloading construction materials and equipment.
Coordinate with site supervisors to meet project schedules.
Assist underground utility crews with labor tasks as needed.

Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to support our underground utility construction operations. This role involves the safe operation of commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. When not driving, the CDL Driver will assist with general labor and site work as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
Transport heavy equipment, tools, and materials to job sites in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records.
Properly secure loads in accordance with legal and safety standards.
Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or required maintenance.
Assist with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment.
Coordinate with site supervisors and crews to meet project schedules.
Assist underground utility crews with labor tasks, including digging, site cleanup, equipment handling, etc.
