Job summary

Wright-Ryan Construction, Inc. invites sophomores and juniors in Building Construction programs to join our Field Operations Division for a summer internship on current projects in Maine.

You will learn on-site under Project Managers and Superintendents, with a pathway to a career as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer after graduation. Pay is $22.00–$24.00 per hour; Maine residents or students from Maine schools favored.

Qualifications

• Interest in building and modern construction jobsite management.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team, learn new skills, and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
• Good organizational skills and attention to pace and accuracy
• Previous carpentry and construction management skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on Wright-Ryan projects based on your skills.
• Gain experience on current job sites and get introduced to field operations practices
