Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking an experienced Field Care Supervisor to deliver a new care and lifestyle service across Leeds and surrounding areas. You will lead a team of Mobile Care Assistants, ensuring person-centred care and regulatory compliance, while promoting independence for residents.

With at least 2 years supervisory care experience and knowledge of CQC regulations, you will oversee care plans, manage visits and scheduling, and support the Registered Care Manager to drive high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience supervising care staff in community/home care settings.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (Level 3 preferred).
• Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Experience updating care plans and risk assessments.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Care Manager with growth, management and delivery of care services across the allocated geographical area.
• Ensure services are safe, effective, high quality and compliant with CQC regulations, company policies and best practice.
• Supervise, support and develop a team of Mobile Care Assistants and Mobile Domestic & Lifestyle SupportAssistants, including training oversight, staff reviews, spot checks, interviewing, onboarding and induction.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to maintain best practice and keep care administration systems accurate and up to date.
• Deliver excellent service to residents, encourage reviews and feedback, and attend development meetings to discuss and promote available services.
• Support the team in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns to the appropriate authorities and the in-house compliance team.
• Provide short-notice cover for care calls when required, including staff sickness or annual leave and to work alternate weekends.
• Ensure all scheduled visits are clocked in and out, and updated as necessary on the careline live app on your mobile phone.
• Maintain work records, e.g. worksheets, and receipts to support travel expenses and mileage claims.
