Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Ablation Specialist to advance field sales through clinical expertise and education in Cardiac Surgery and EP environments. This role requires extensive travel to operating rooms, EP labs, cath labs, and related care settings.

You will work with Sales Managers and Education teams to drive adoption and optimize patient outcomes. The CAS serves as a critical clinical and commercial partner, delivering case coverage, training, and real-time procedural guidance

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent in experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a surgical or lab environment preferred (cardiac surgery, IC or EP).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to travel 75-80% depending on territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical and procedural support across cardiac ORs, EP labs, and cath labs.
• Partner with Sales Managers to execute account plans and growth opportunities.
• Lead and support educational efforts for physicians, surgeons, and OR staff through presentations and hands-on training.
• Train surgical and OR personnel on company technologies, including setup and intraoperative support.
• Provide expert intraoperative assistance during live cases for optimal device use.
• Engage surgeons, physicians, and health professionals to advance clinical adoption and program development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Education to drive market growth.
• Support market development in cardiac surgery ablation and LAA management.
• Provide patient follow-up and clinical support per healthcare professionals’ requests.
• Document case activity, product feedback, and clinical insights for ongoing improvements.
