Job summary

CAL-CERT, an Accredited Labs Company, seeks a Calibration Technician - Field Service to calibrate a wide range of equipment at customer sites and in shop settings. You will travel regionally and nationwide, perform routine and complex calibrations, and maintain precise records while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working with Manufacturer’s Quality Systems.
• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields.
• Military PMEL Training.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations in shop and at customer sites.
• Perform routine and complex calibration on diverse equipment per processes and docs.
• Collaborate with clients from first onsite touchpoint to project completion with updates.
• Ensure calibration activities comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and data accuracy.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service and support.
• Travel to customer locations across Idaho and the US as needed.
• Adapt to different equipment and environments with quick learning.
