Job summary

PCI is seeking a Calibration Technician I in Raleigh, NC. The role supports calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance tasks under supervision, with travel to client sites up to 50%.

The ideal candidate has basic calibration knowledge, a two-year technical degree, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include performing calibrations, maintaining compliant documentation, and ensuring safe, accurate measurement practices across client projects.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of calibration concepts and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with supervision, following GxP documentation.
• Conduct basic calibrations (pressure, temperature, humidity, time, CO2).
• Ensure safe handling of PCI and client-owned equipment.
• Identify project supply needs and communicate to resources.
• Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.
• Maintain a neat, professional work area and complete timesheets/expense reports.
• Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance as needed.
