Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies and PCI are seeking a Calibration Technician II in Raleigh, NC to perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with strict GxP documentation per PCI and client policies. Travel up to 50% may be required, with a company vehicle eligible for use where applicable.

The role requires a two-year technical degree with two years of metrology or instrumentation experience; knowledge of GMPs and FDA-related standards is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related field; plus two years of metrology/ instrumentation experience or equivalent.
  • Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
  • FDA, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 awareness is expected.

Responsibilities

  • With minor supervision, completes calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate GxP documentation.
  • Guided calibrations in flow, conductivity, pH, mass and dimensional parameters.
  • Identify client opportunities at sites and relay leads to leadership.
  • Complete timesheets with correct labor codes weekly.
  • Maintain PCI and client equipment and testing standards.
  • Troubleshoot/repair as needed while prioritizing scheduled calibrations.
  • Identify and report safety issues at the work site.
