Job summary

Micro Precision in Westminster, CO is seeking an entry- to mid-level Calibration Technician to calibrate a range of test instruments across electrical, industrial and temperature equipment. You will collect data, complete certifications, and share best practices with the team.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math, and communication skills. Travel up to 25% to client sites is possible; training is provided and safety/quality standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment.
• Experience with basic instrumentation and manual tools.
• Basic mathematics understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and under supervision of Senior Technicians.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of test instruments for electrical, industrial and temperature equipment.
• Perform standards maintenance and checking of company standards when assigned.
• Collect calibration data and record on data sheets; complete calibration certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Share knowledge and best practices with other team members.
• Observe safety and quality standards and comply with the company.
• Clearly communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers by phone, in person, and email.
