Job summary

CCI Systems, Inc. in Northern Metro Denver/Fort Collins area seeks Survey Technicians to map routes from existing plant to customer, and to define construction requirements for proposed routes.

This role performs commercial walkout surveys to ensure all tasks meet customer and industry specs. You will collect field data, verify records for aerial and underground telecom (fiber, coax, poles, pedestals), and document details.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cable mapping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cable design and OSP basic construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams for CATV projects.
• Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills.
• Good computer skills with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF Editor; learn new software.
• Ability to draw digitally in Bluebeam is preferred.
• Must be highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial walkout surveys to provide new service to end user.
• Ensure all tasks are completed per customer and industry specs.
• Follow guidelines to outline route from existing plant to customer demark with construction notes.
• Record field information and verify documents for aerial and underground telecom including fiber, coax, poles, and pedestals.
