Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to support our solar construction projects. This field-based role involves safely transporting employees between parking areas and the onsite site, with additional labor and site support duties as needed.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong safety focus, ability to operate a bus in active construction environments, and willingness to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather. Valid CDL and acceptable driving record are required.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or construction site experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement (required).
• Acceptable driving record per company and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate buses to transport employees to and from parking areas to the onsite work location.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly buses.
• Follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or maintenance needs.
• Assist with general labor and site support where needed when not driving.
