Uniti Group Inc., via its Kinetic unit, is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the network hub to customers’ homes. The role requires overnight travel and a commitment to safety.

You’ll connect customers to Kinetic products and train new staff, with opportunities to promote services. The position supports the burial of lines, operates hand-held devices, and follows a union bidding process.

Qualifications

• Able to travel overnight, including out-of-state, based on business needs.
• Basic technology and math skills.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable from hub to customers' residence.
• Use technical skills and customer focus to connect customers to services.
• Interpret work drawings and complete required paperwork.
• Promote and sell Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
