Job summary

Harper, a San Francisco-based AI-native commercial insurer, seeks a Partnerships lead to open new markets and build partner channels from zero. You’ll be in the field, travel regularly, and manage a distribution scoreboard to show progress week to week.

You will own end-to-end market execution with no pre-existing funnel, turning early signals into real motions while collaborating across teams and reporting outcomes frequently.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in partnerships, business development, GTM, new markets, field sales, ops, or a startup role with ownership.
• Evidence of owning messy work end-to-end.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Autonomous, able to context-switch rapidly, and travel-ready.
• Track record delivering under pressure with high standards.
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately.

Responsibilities

• Open new markets and partner channels from zero with initial meetings and referrals.
• Travel regularly; SF is home base and on-site required.
• Run a distribution scoreboard and measure outreach, meetings, referrals, and conversions.
• Build 0→1 channel motions under clear direction from Special Projects.
• Bridge partnerships, sales, and ops to ensure clean handoffs and progress.
