Job summary

4LEAF, Inc. is seeking building inspectors to work on-site in California's Merced, Stanislaus or San Joaquin counties. Candidates must have 3–5 years of inspection experience and be certified through ICC, DSA, and OSHPD (CASp preferred).

Inspectors will review new and altered buildings for code compliance, prepare clear reports, and communicate complex issues to contractors and property owners. A California driver's license is required for travel on the road assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills including listening and negotiating.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new buildings and alterations for compliance with adopted codes.
• Explain complex building issues to the public, contractors, designers and owners.
• Prepare and issue correction notices and inspection reports.
