Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a Field Analyst in the Permian Basin region to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the Engineering & Construction division. You will work with Accounting, Project Managers, and leadership to present results in group settings.

The role requires effective communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with office-based duties and standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of administrative, operations, or reporting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP Concur, ADP, Power BI, Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with field and office personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the division's engineering and construction (E&C) capital budgets.
• Consolidate financial reports on budget status and forecasts.
• Ensure variances are explained.
• Forecast project cash flows with Project Managers using analytical tools.
• Input accruals at the end of each quarter.
• Create journal entries to correct AP project charges.
• Present reports to Division Management.
• Roll up finalized reports to Corporate Accounting.
• Manage the Divisions E&C capital Budget development process.
• Establish timelines and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Schedule and facilitate budget development review meetings.
• Ensure project descriptions, justifications and cash flows are clear and complete.
• Input project budgets into company’s database.
• Generate and present reports for review and approval.
• Create purchase orders in SAP.
• Work with vendors and Project engineers when invoices are incorrect.
• Audit, code and process invoices per procedures.
• Check for discrepancies per contracts and purchase orders.
• Provide proper coding, route for approval and input into AP system.
