Job summary

Blake Thermal Sales & Service Inc. seeks several Field Service Boiler/Burner/Controls Technicians to support Albany, NY and Western Massachusetts. Apprentices are welcome, with a focus on positive attitude, problem solving, and teamwork to service C&I equipment.

As factory-authorized technicians, you will perform startup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers, burners, and related controls, with on-call duties and opportunities for extensive training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a C&I burner/controls technician preferred; apprentices will be trained.
• Ability to troubleshoot burners from 0.5 to 30 MMBTU input.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented work style.
• Good English communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance/repair of boiler/burner equipment.
• Install equipment at customer sites and assist pre-installation.
• On-call 24-hour emergency service rotation with compensation.
• Night and weekend work may be required with notice.
• Develop high level of customer service and time management.
• Maintain tools and company equipment; valid driver's license.
