Job summary

Blake Thermal Sales & Service Inc. is seeking multiple Field Service Boiler/Burner/Controls Technicians in Portland, ME. We welcome apprentices and experienced technicians, offering factory training and on-the-job development.

You will troubleshoot, tune combustion and support a range of C&I equipment with strong customer focus. Ideal candidates participate in on-call rotations, can read schematics, and possess a valid driver's license with the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to maintain certifications: Gas Service Appliance, Large Equipment Gas, Oil up to 15 GPH and Oil over 15 GPH.
• Perform scheduled & emergency maintenance/repair of equipment and related systems.
• Install equipment at customer sites and assist with pre-installation.
• Available for 24-hour on-call rotation; overtime/double-time compensation for after-hours work.
• Occasional night/weekend work to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of boiler/burner/controls equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct boiler room analyses to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Read/write English and communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and pass DOT physical when required.
