Mitchell Companies is seeking a Merchandiser to support our sales and delivery teams by ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and displayed according to company standards. This is a field‑based position with daily travel to local retail accounts in Meridian, MS, collaborating closely with Sales Representatives and Route Assistants.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and experience in beverage distribution or merchandising.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in beverage distribution, merchandising, or warehouse preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of beverage rotation, inventory handling, and merchandising principles.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, rotate, stock, and display products at retail accounts.
• Merchandise products according to company standards and promotional plans.
• Install and maintain permanent and temporary POS materials.
• Support monthly team-selling initiatives.
• Build professional relationships with store owners and managers.
• Learn account layouts, products, and designated display areas.
• Respond to customer requests and elevate unresolved issues when needed.
• Provide route coverage when needed, including delivering products, collecting payments, rotating stock, and executing sales tickets.
